Head of school
While this is an overview of the Head of School responsibilities and qualifications, by no means is it limited to only what is written. A Head of School at Arrow Prep must be equipped at all times for the different situations they will face throughout their day and be able to walk in wisdom and think on their feet. The Head of School is responsible for managing school operations and the academic and spiritual quality of Arrow Prep. They are in partnership with the school board to review, refine, and administer the vision, plans, traditions and programs of APA that contribute to the school’s climate and culture. Submission to Jesus and a willingness to lead by service and love is the most crucial aspect to this role.
Responsibilities: BOARD RELATIONS The Head of School advises the board but is not responsible for governance matters just as the board advises the head but is not responsible for management matters. Together, the Head of School and board form an equal partnership in running the school, each in their respective spheres of management and governance. The Head of School is an ex officio, non-voting, member of the board and all board committees. The Head of School:
