A Purposeful, Jesus-Centered Environment
The goal of Arrow Preparatory Academy is to partner with families to inspire our students to love Jesus, to provide excellent education and life skills, and develop courageous leaders who creatively influence culture for the glory of God. We believe that facts, whether mathematical, historical, scientific, or otherwise, can only represent truth if they are taught in the context of a Christian worldview. Therefore, with the Bible as our foundation for character building, we hope that all of our students seek the heart of the Father in all things, pursue creativity and excellence with integrity and determination, learn to be internally motivated--knowing who they are and what they uniquely have to offer the world--and respect the individuality and ideas of themselves and those around them.
We believe that educating our children to become wise, thoughtful, responsible individuals is as important as teaching them reading, writing and mathematics. Our mission and goal is to provide a faith-based education that will nurture the individual child and help them find their stride, encouraging students to overcome obstacles while working with them to achieve understanding. We want to create a safe environment for students to take risks, rejoice with each other in success, and learn from failures; to foster encouragement over competition and excellence over perfection. Our hope is that students would not be driven by the world's standards of success but would rather be governed by internal values such as love, honor, and responsibility; that they would be mature persons whose thoughts, emotions, and desires reflect truth. We seek to cultivate wisdom and virtue as our primary goal, focusing on the development of a mature person who loves learning and who makes the connection between learning and life—spiritually minded, academically versed, and socially balanced students who are equipped to make a positive impact in their community. |
